Salute to the old yesterday
Salute to old yesterday
From the cold heat to the green-white vegetation
From the hands that plough the earth
To the little stones that birth vegetation
Salute to old yesterday
Adios to our founding fathers
Enslaved by modern civilization
They lived each day a blessing to the sun
Carrying with them the stripes of slavery
The pains infused in their little souls but yet they smile
Salute to old yesterday
From the over grown afro's to the curls of micheal jackson
The beauty of the old school life
When music was still a food and the soul feeds on it
When black history was still a dream and barrack obama was only a dreamer
Salute to the hurts of years past
When war was the basics for settlement
Salute to the good old days
From the hatred of hitler
To the poetic love life of shakeSpear
Salute to the old yesterday
When life was pure and babies outlived their parents
We'll young and old have a story
Some smile when they rethink
While others wish they could go back in time
Make the best out of now for tomorrow, today will be a tribute to days gone
