Mr. Peter Toposian, 40, is said to have committed the crime last
week at Embu, Kenya. The court heard that the accused lured the boy
pretending that he needed help. He asked the boy for direction only to
lead him to his house where he is said to have committed the inhuman
act.
According to the victim, the watchman
pretended to be lost and asked the way to a nearby church. He offered to
provide the assistance only for him to take him to his house. He
ordered him to remove his clothes and sodomised him.
Peter is alleged to have threatened to stab him if he raised any alarm.
The boy reported the matter to the police leading to his arrest.
Appearing
before Embu Senior Principal Magistrate Paul Biwott, the accused denied
the charges and was released on a Sh100, 000 bond with a surety of the
same.
The case was set for hearing on April 16.
