Updates from the Hollywood gossip…. Lil
Wayne is reportedly in critical condition after suffering more seizures. The
rapper was rushed to the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
The rapper was hospitalized Tuesday night after
suffering multiple seizures, but was released Wednesday after he stabilized.
Today, he did not stabilize.
Wayne was rushed to the hospital
again, and placed in restraints in the ICU because he was shaking
uncontrollably. He was then placed in an induced coma.
Earlier this afternoon, he was
breathing through tubes.
Several
people are at Wayne's bedside, both rap artists and family members. There's
evidence that he went on a sizzurp binge after his release Wednesday.
Doctors found high amounts of
codeine in the 30-year-old's system. Wanye's stomach was pumped three times to
flush the drugs from his system.
This took place earlier this
afternoon, Pacific Time.
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne's mother
is currently on a plane flying to Los Angeles, and no major medical decisions
will be made until she arrives.
